Thank you for your lovely comments, Vijay! But really, you are no small beetle at all! He is just one of those larger-than-life characters of a different generation that they don't make a lot of these days. I feel pretty small next to him, too. : - )

Well, Vijay, you're like that, too! But I know when you do publish something, it's going to knock me back on my heels. Uusally there's a phrase that goes so deep, and sometimes it's the pivot on which your entire poem turns. I think that lately, there's a place that I find I'm too distracted to go. I used to have a routine of working on Sunday morning, and not get up until I have worked for an hour. I have to get back to that structure, because it produced everything I posted on gather! Regards and very best to you -- ag

Hello, vijay! I like to think of you as a bird with at least two wings! Thanks so much for reading my work -- you know how much I love your work, and there are now fewer poets on Gather than before. My output is dwindling, and I have to say, I've pulled some of my work off Gather, since I'm submitting them to journals. But it's time to get back to work and focus! Very best -- ag

Vijay, thank you! Yes, there is much that is tentative about moving on. Scary, but what else can we do? But in times of transition, I'm trying to learn to look for the exhilarating feeling that comes from not knowing the way.
